The Suzuki Hayabusa (or GSX1300R) is a hyper sport motorcycle made by Suzuki since 1999. It immediately won acclaim as the world’s fastest production motorcycle, with a top speed of 188–194 miles per hour (303–312 km/h), surpassing the Honda CBR1100XX Super Blackbird by at least a full 10 miles per hour (16 km/h). After the much-anticipated Kawasaki Ninja ZX-12R of 2000 fell 4 mph (6 km/h) short of claiming the title because of being speed-restricted, the Hayabusa secured its place as the fastest standard production bike of the 20th century. Besides its speed, the Hayabusa has been lauded by many reviewers for its all-around performance, in that it does not drastically compromise other qualities like handling, comfort, reliability, noise, fuel economy or price in pursuit of a single function. The Hayabusa has been one of the top choices for streetbike customization, perhaps even the most popular customized sportbike. Extreme horsepower enhancements like nitrous injection, which can add 100 bhp (75 kW), and turbocharging, which can raise rear wheel power to 250 bhp (190 kW) and beyond, are common. Another top modification is an extended swingarm, intended to decrease the tendency to wheelie during hard acceleration at launch, improving quarter mile performance, and giving the bike a drag-racing look. Lowering the front and rear suspension serves the same purposes.

The Suzuki Gladius is a naked motorcycle introduced by Suzuki for the 2009 model year.

The bike features a new design and an upgraded engine from the SV650. With an MSRP of $6,899 the Gladius is priced between the competing $6,399 Kawasaki ER-6N (Ninja 650R) twin and the $6,990 Yamaha FZ6R inline-four. Suzuki claim the bike achieves fuel economy of 58 miles per US gallon (25 km/l).

At the Tokyo Motor Show in 2009, Suzuki announced the smaller capacity Gladius 400.

Suzuki is a company known in India for its tough and durable bikes. Two years ago the company stole “a march in MX1″ with its RM-Z450 fuel injection bike. Now Suzuki announces its MX2 motocross bike, the 2010 Suzuki RM-Z250.

The frame has been redesigned to deliver better suspension which in turn gives improved traction. The 2010 Suzuki RM-Z250 features fuel injection and an aluminium fuel tank. It even comes with new foot rests and black number boards. A recommended retail price will be announced just prior to the bike’s launch.
