Formula One racing is one of the fastest and most exciting forms of motorsports internationally, although it hasn’t gained the popularity in the United States that it has world-wide. Formula One car are single-seater open-wheel cars that race on road courses or street circuits in many exotic locals, and its drivers are considered among the upper echelon of race car drivers around the world. Drivers in F1 must possess an FIA Super License. A Super License is issued to a driver already in possession of a Grade A competition license, and the driver must also be either a reigning champion in a lower series, such as Formula 3 or GP2, or be a consistent finisher in a lower series. The Super License is also open to IZOD Indy Car Series drivers who finished in the first six places in championship points.
