Formula One car are single-seater open-wheel cars that race on road courses or street circuits in many exotic locals, and its drivers are considered among the upper echelon of race car drivers around the world. Drivers in F1 must possess an FIA Super License. A Super License is issued to a driver already in possession of a Grade A competition license, and the driver must also be either a reigning champion in a lower series, such as Formula 3 or GP2, or be a consistent finisher in a lower series. The Super License is also open to IZOD Indy Car Series drivers who finished in the first six places in championship points.
With all the financial problems in Spain, Valencia wants to renegotiate its deal to run the Formula 1 race – the European Grand Prix – which is one of two races run in Spain. Valencia pays tens of millions of dollars to stage the race, and the local government wants to play less on that and look at other big events too. In fact, the drivers can return to the racing line after defending their position once, but they must leave a car’s width of space to the edge of the track going into a corner. Your experience starts with a comprehensive safety briefing. You will then start your track activity with five familiarization laps of the circuit in a sports saloon being driven by an instructor. You will then progress on to drive the saloon car for 10 laps before you climb behind the wheel of both the Aston Martin V8 Vantage and the Ferrari 360 for two 6 mile sessions, honing your skills for the move on to a Single Seater for a paced 10 lap session.
